picked up a 98 z28 interceptor need help

Default picked up a 98 z28 interceptor need help

Hey guys I picked up a 98 z28 interceptor hardtop over the weekend. Theres a outlet plug under the hood by the fuses. what's this plug for?

Is it like a standard outlet like in your house? If so, maybe it was used for the laptop charger or some sorts?

oh yea I forgot about those. Normally those are for cars up north right? Cold winters, can warm the engine/oil up.

It needs some help. It has a bolt in roll cage and hasn't had any other mods done to it from what I see.

Wow haven't seen a block heater on a car since I moved to Texas. Definitely useful these last couple days.

Block heaters are nice to have sometimes..I had a Ford Ranger that had one...used it a few times too

Put a transmission in it fix a few little other things then sell it. If I can't sell it ill part it out.

My 01 C5Z has a block heater on it as well.... It was actually an export to Canada.. Yeah,, pretty rare! Not that you will ever need it here. Nice find.

Just a junk motor where the car was. The person I picked it up from had it at a friends house that works out of his house type of shop. They put converter in thinking that would fix his problem but the 3-4 is burnt up.
