Will be praying for you and your family. I hate the helpless feeling we have in situations like this. Cancer took my mother 3 years ago, and I just pray for y'all that some good time can still be spent together.

Prayers from Tennessee crew.. God works in some crazy ways. He is the only one to turn to in this situation. It really bothers me that this thread was closed in the racers lounge.. I think the comment made by the mod was "If we can't keep religion out of it, it doesn't belong in the lounge"??

i am a 2 time lymphoma cancer survivor (once at 31 and other at 45 yrs of age). it is not easy but what helped me alot was recognizing GOD gives us life and HE takes life away. Its HIS call. its not like we can refuse. so during them times, especially, i lived each day to the fullest joking and laughing so that if i was to pass, my family and loved ones could have good memories of me. another thing was recognizing the pain and discomfort i was going thru did not compare one bit to what my LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST wen through on the cross for us. I just felt a relief when I would acknowledge that and thank GOD for HIS SON. i share my story of faith, hope and love because that is what life is about and the greatest of these is love....
GOD Bless....

Thanks very much fellas. We believe there is no better place than spending eternity in the Kingdom of God and to meet our Lord and Savoir face to face. It still hurts and its still scary to know you are going to lose someone so close, but with your prayers and words of wisdom I take refuge. Thank you all and God Bless!

we have to be thankful for each day and make the most of each day, reminding our loved ones, we love them for tomorrow is never to be taken for granted. it is hard to lose a loved one but we must be considerate of the pain and the quality of life they are living. eternal life is a precious gift and our loss is not only GOD's gain but precious rest for our loved ones. we got to rejoice and celebrate life....
