errr... maybe as a last resort.

Id rather buy one with a name commonly seen at local shops that sell similar brands.

I am a bit familiar with the ones you mentioned, im not sure I would trust those as I have been told the frames crack easily on those. I have also heard the motors used on those are worthless and difficult to repair.

Again, It's hearsay.

on second thought... I should just drop by and see what brands they carry. Thanks.

Do not waste your money on the cheap Chinese brand karts on Harwin. They are 100% pure junk!!!

The frames do crack, motors do not run right, when they break parts are a pain to get...

Just spend the money and get them a Yerfdog...

I bought my boys 2 new Go Karts for Christmas and so far they have been good. I got them from Big Daddy Choppers in Beaumont and I paid $1,300.00 each for them. They’re not a known name brands but they are built pretty nice, they do not have all the Bells and whistles but then again it’s a go cart. All they need is a brake and gas pedal...

My 7 and 9 year old starts them without any help...

Thanks Chad.

Just what I needed to hear. I appreciate the feedback. I have been on the fence about buying new Vs. used. I havent seen many used for sale, Time is ticking, I may just make a move on a new one.

There is a place off 59 N (past Beltway 8) I might go check out.

They sell the Chinese ones there. I had a hard time trying to decide which ones to buy, since I was buying 2 it was pretty costly so I went with these ones instead of the Yerfdogs.

If you get one with electric start make sure it also has a pull start. The starters and batteries do not last, once they go out you have to buy another one and the cart can not be ridden.

My 7 and 9 year old pull start theirs all the time, I know your 11 year old should not have a problem doing it.
