Default Good Exhaust Shop In DFW?

I wanna get a 2.5" over the axle dual system fabbed; I already have the x-pipe, just need the fancy bends and all. Anyone know of a reputable exhaust shop in the area? I know of a few, but they've told me that it just isn't possible; and we all know that's a lie... Thanks, all!

Im looking for one as well, been looking for a while but have not found any who claim to be excelent. I think the best thing to do is find one that looks decent and monitor their every action. Watch each weld, make sure nothing is in a bind while they are welding, make them stop and do it over if they screw up something or it doesnt look right/good. Ask to be alowed to stand next to the guy welding with a face shield on and demabd perfection. If the shop you choose wont allow you to then leave and find another.

This will be the route I take when I get my 3" Oval true dual set up installed.

^^ Will do; thanks! To anyone who knows, can I get a 2.5" system out the back without getting a panhard relocation bar? I know I have to for a 3" system, but wondering if there's an exception.

I would recommend Jerry's Muffler in Lewisville. He has done great work for me in the past.

If you are going to do a delete at all I would suggest a simple diesel shop. They did my muffler delete on my '09 G8 GT, and they don't care about deleting things.

Look up Evolution Custom Auto. They are located in S. Arlington. Not a muffler shop but they do custom fab work. Ive known there fab guy for a long time and he does good work. They can do whatever you want. alum, mild, or stainless. just go by there and look at some of the work and you will see. Really cool guys too. I should know i worked there.

Tell them Dale sent you.

This right here...you'll be looking for a place for a long time. No one I know who does this kind of work has issues doing the work. They will not have someone in their pocket telling them how to fab. If you're telling them how to do their job....you should learn how to fab yourself. It's stressful enough to do much less having a puppet in their back pocket yapping.

I have found such places in the past just as I have described working on motorcycles and boats. These guys welcomed the customer in the shop to view first hand the work being performed.

Thanks Dweeb, I will take your post under consideration.

That was the response I was expecting. Why not stick to the post in general and leave the BS out.

Bill the Muffler King huh, I called them and they welcome me to watch closely while they work to make sure the job they are doing is done to my satisfaction. He said he wants it done right the first time because he doesnt have time to do it over.

I couldnt have said it better myself!

Perhaps Dwebbz28 should hold his tongue just as his son is holding his belt loop. Silence is golden!

Another vote for Bryan at Muffler King, worked on several trucks for me, two header installs, had to modify both junk pacesetter Ypipes and does great work.

I am pretty sure that Ray is the same Ray that did my dual 3" over the axle...
I am VERY satisfied with the outcome.

more than likely, when "ray" and "exhaust" are mentioned in the same sentence that's usually him haha... the shop that originally hacked my exhaust was one of the others mentioned but that's all I'm going to say
