Default Picked up a 2012 sierra

Picked up a gently used (12k miles) sierra tx edition last week. I was really surprised at how much smoother these trucks ride over the previous body style.

4 days later, 2" drop shackles and debadged

Nice looking truck you should enjoy it it wont be long until mod bug hits I'm sure. My 11' sierra lasted about 2 hours once I got it till I tore into it. You get a 6.2 or 5.3 in it.

Yup the bug already set in. Exhaust is already on order, and the drop shackles went in less than 4 days after I bought it. It's a 5.3. I would have loved to have a 6.2, but the price was right on this one.

I know that's right. I had a 95 Ext cab DRW 1 ton, went to a Kodiak (no comparison at all) to a 08 CC DRW 1 ton 2 weeks ago. The 08 is a Caddy with a pick up bed on it. The 95 was nice, but the 6.5 wasn't.

Thinking about a 3/5 once the bumper to bumper is up.

Side moldings are next, just waiting for it to heat up to make the glue easier to remove.

Ha, I didn't get tired of it, just got into this one, with 100k less miles, a warranty, lower interest rate, and only a small amount of money more a month.

Mine will be nicer in either 1.5 years or by end of september if we have a nice hot as hell summer this year and get it paid off. I didn't mind payments for first 2 years now I'm over it and ready to be done.
