Seemed like oh Maxey Chittum got some traction in that little red vette running a 5.40 or close to.

Yeah thats always the case for that track sadly! Im on my first tank of the "93" and I can tell its more than 91 for sure, the old pony seems like it

If you ever want to run a race gas mix, just buy VP 110 from Robs Motorcycle shop. It used to run really well in my cammed hemi, last year it sold for $8/ gallon.

The Flying J in Tye has 93 octane. It is about 3 exits west of the dragstrip on the north side of I-20.

The dragstrip website makes it look like they are open on Fridays for T&T, but evidently not all Fridays, they were closed just now. It would really help if they were more clear or there was a phone number at the track!

You keep buying that 91 at flying J Hank. I know where they load it and its not 93.

He's right hank, it might say 93, but there is no such thing in Abilene. A good friend of mine drives a gas truck out here, and he says the same thing

I trust he's right but still no need to be a smart *** like I was boasting about getting 93 octane gas, I was just trying to be helpful. Next time I'll just keep it to myself so I dont come off as boasting

I just talked to the guy filling the tanks up at Valero. He said he drives the gas out of Fort Worth to Valero because that is the closest depot for 93. He said it is always actual 93 and he has alot of motorcycle people stop and ask him. He said the only other 93 is the pump at Tye like I posted above. Unless he's just a liar it seems like it might really be 93.

IN YOUR FACE FLANDERS

just kidding

The big Sunoco station over by Dyess off 277/Rebecca has 93 octane listed now on the pumps.

good to hear about the 277/Rebecca Sunoco supposedly stepping up.
i also noticed the United Grocery by Hendrick/Hardin Simmons lists 88, 90, 93 on their pumps... anybody know if those're legit? it's even cheaper than most stations selling lower octanes.
