Houston Cars and Coffee - May 2013
Guys/Gals,
I know I harp every month to get a good Fbody turn out at the Houston C&C, but here goes again!!!!
Last month was fun, but the fbody crowd and turnout was pathetic. We really need to get a good group out, and if you don't want to meet up with us before the show let me know if you are coming and we can save spots for you (must be there early). Now I know it's early, but if you've ever been to this show you know that it's full by 7AM and to get spots together, we must roll into the show at 6AM. We are going to meet up at the Target parking lot at 5:40 and leave at 5:50AM. Target is at 249/Jones across the freeway and one street down from the show. Call me if you have any questions or text me if you are on your way and want a spot saved. To give you an idea on the turn outs in the past here is a pic from a couple years ago as I'd like to have a turnout like this. The weather should be beautiful and the show will probably be amazing.

I love this show and try to go every month, but that is pretty much the truth. The 5th gen turnout is amazing as well as the modern mopars and mustangs, but 4th gens are just never there. Probably the most I've ever seen is our turnout last year in my picture above. Pretty sad considering how many nice and fast 4th gens there are in Houston. Guess it's too hard for everyone to get up that early on a Saturday and get out to the show in time.

Problem is that if you aren't there by 6 you aren't getting a spot. If we get a group next month I'll bring a couple 4th gens. Drove the 97 formula WS6 this past time but on its own it doesn't have the same impact as with a group.

I live 1/2 a mile from the Vintage Park and typically try and meet up with other 4th gens at 6AM as I've been doing for over 2 years now. I can save spots for other's that want to get there for the show, but everyone needs to be there by 6:30ish as it's not fair to hold too many spots for that long. Let me know who all is interested and we can meet up for the next show across the freeway at Target and cruise in together.
