Default Talk to me about drag radials

Hey guys with my new setup i'm currently making 580rwhp/557rwtq, my Bridgeston RE-11's aren't cutting it all. This is what i'm experiencing...

1st gear= worthless
2nd gear=worthless
3rd gear= slip, and grab@ 50mph

My car is not a daily driver and is only driven in good weather conditions. Car won't see a drag strip or track day.
I'd like a tire that could provide very well dry traction to fix at least some of my symptoms above. If possible, also be able to be used for spirited driving around turns and twisty's. I'd like any first hand experience reviews on anything you may recommend. Tire life, cost, goods, bads, etc.

I'll be running a "19.5" inch rear tire and have considered the following:

Hoosier R6
Toyo Proxes R888
Nitto NT05R
MT ET Streets II

I have a cam only LS2 and have the 345/30/19 NT05R's, when I run them between 24-26 psi they seem to hook well, the streets here at home and freshly laid and pretty slick so sometimes they don't hook, anything above 28psi they are useless, I have a Z51 lowered on stock bolts so my susp isn't helping much, at your power level with good suspension they should be fine, as for wear I barely have ~800 miles on them and they still look good!!

Best ET I've ever run was on a brand new set of Hoosier drag radials. Mine didn't last long though..And since taking the Hoosiers off I have not been able to cut 1.40x sixty foot times. With the Hoosier radials almost every pass was 1.4x. I'm probably going back to them to be honest..

I have NTO5Rs on the rear and they do pretty good, with my new setup at around 480-500hp it only spins through 1st. only about 300 miles on them, I like them so far. Also wanted to say cost is really not bad I got mine through Speedinc.

Hoosier Drag Radials 25psi 1.4X 60ft 3780 car w/driver. Wasn't my daily but drove round trip to track 75-100 miles on tires. Don't do that they will not last long.

See my sig. 408 w/ LQ9 block. Turbo 400 trans. Those Hoosier drag radials are probably the stickest of all the radials and I've tried them all. But they don't last long. I only got about 15 runs on them and they were done.

Ok, figured it was not a cam only ls1 to hit those times in the 60.

15 passes? Damn, I made 15 passes on my MT et drags in one night.

Hoosiers dr's last longer than that unless your doing one hell of a burn out. mine last me about 3 or 4000 miles and i race in mexico every weekend but they do hook! every sense i started using them my c6 has zero wheel hop and dead hooks from a dig on a healthy shot.

i don't daily it so...

At this point i'm really debating over the R888 and the ET Street II. I know the M/T is a lot stickier but it has a treadware of 0. The R888 will last somewhat longer and have read it hooks pretty well. Both tires are at about the same price range.
