Default Nationwide car transport

Im looking at an SS in Ohio and Im not sure weather or not it would be cheaper to fly out and drive back or just have it transported. Anyone have any experience with any? I figure its somewhere around $1k to have it transported... am I right?

Yea- about 700-1k.

I had a great hook up but they got out if the business. I can recommend a broker- but all they do is set the deal up. They have no recourse if something goes wrong.

Had a driver slide my WS6 to the side when it spun tires on the trailer in the rain. Car got dinged up on the rear bumper and guy has been dodging me since. Broker said they can't do anything- contract is with the driver.

I think someone on here said they had a good experience with Angels transport?

I had my sons 81Z28 brought from Virginia to Dallas and it was $500. That is what I was quoted and they had to do it for that. I got lucky. Most of the quotes I got were around $700-$800. I would figure it up both ways. Flight, gas, food, hotel, time VS transport for around $750. If the owner will hold it for you while you figure it out, that would help out even more. My Z was held for 2 weeks before it was picked up.

The lowest I found was $675, Im not sure the cheapest is the best... you know that whole "You get what you pay for" thing. The seller is pretty cool so I dont think holding it for a week or 2 is an issue, just trying to figure out the best way to handle it. Ill be sending a check for the car tomorrow so ideally I would like the car to ship next week but who knows what will actually transpire. Thanks for the info.

Where is the car? My parents live in Dayton. Not a terrible drive but it's not a new car either. Made the drive a few times

Martha faulker! So I had a quote for $745 ($145 broker fee, $600 to the driver) and they just called back saying that the driver is requesting $150 more. What kind of **** is that? This is with iMovers BTW.
