Have a 02 SS with super high miles, looking to buy a running 5.3 or 6.0L vehicle for under $2k with less than 100k on the motor, thanks in advance. ANy idea on yards or best vehicles to use for donor swap? Car is a M6

Long term plans would be get new motor swapped, once a solid driver would like to add heads, cam, and boost

I don't know of any yards but I think it will be high hopes to find anything with a motor for that price range. Especially an ls vehicle. You'd be better off buying a take out or why not just freshen up the ls1 in the car?

What are you talking about? I get 5.3s for swap for 550 all day from my yard. I think I've bought a dozen or so from them.
