I'm in the same boat although not looking to increase HP just yet. Did you go with the group in Houston or found someone in San Antonio?

had mine built by Texas Motorsports on the east side of town. Goes by "The Source" on a few forums. VERY reasonable Stg 3 build.

good luck.

1100 seems awfully expensive with you doing all the labor of removing and reinstalling the transmission.

i hope this doesnt come off as me treating you like a child, but id replace the slave cylinder while you are in there. if you need any clutch assembly / pilot bearing work, now is the time.

You obviously haven't seen the prices for the parts of the T56's they have gone through the roof! Used to be able to build a real nice one for about 4-500. Same trans is 7-800, and thats just parts! Labor I used to charge $200+ parts, but I really don't have the time to do them anymore, and can't justify the time and work for the money etc... GL! There are several ppl in the Houston area doing these trany's.
