Just texted a buddy...

"They didn't really close. They got bought out by epw(engine performance warehouse). I called yesterday looking for a part and they said that beginning Monday 9/29/14 they stopped selling to the public "

Wow! I was just in there last Wednesday and now all I need is fuel line and they wont sell it to me

That's the one. They only sell to machine shops and speed shops so it might as well have closed. They couldn't compete price wise anyhow. I only used them in a pinch. EPWI is really cheap on a lot of stuff but you have to have a connection.

There is an EPW around here too, they do only sell to automotive businesses.

From someone who used to work at TP, yes all above is true. Frankly I do not blame the former owners of Texas Performance to do what they did. Its unfortunate but that's business folks. Matt same for me.

Default you can easily buy parts, and now theyre IN STOCK!!!

Just goto your local Machine Shop or Auto Parts store pay them and come pick up at the warehouse! Competition Sales, Xtreme Performance, Houston Engine & Balancing, Clear Lake Speed, O'Reilly, Napa, Advance, Bap Geon, and many more...

i believe he is talking about a straw man transaction.

since texas performance apparently no longer sells to the public, one should have one of the businesses named above complete the purchase for you.
