Got my C10 to a GPS verified 144. STUPID scary in an old farm truck on cut springs and worn out suspension. Not to mention the nonexistent brakes.

Holy cow. I thought 150 (ish) in a rusty '70 Camaro in 1987 was scary. I can't imagine going that fast in a truck.

Mad props good sir!

Never again. I just didn't wanna lift bc that kid in that mustang was a douche and he needed to get a piece. Between the lights just wasn't enough for him.

119 in my Camaro and 102ish on GMC yukon 2 door after I modified and tuned the chip. On the Camaro I know I could have probably gone faster but the front end started shaking at 110mph and the yukon I was surprised it reached 100mph after removing the fuel cut off and adjusting the ve tables and shift points.

Back in the mid 90's I had a stock '92 Vette (LT-1) that would do 155-156 mph. I verified this on the Dallas North Tollway one day

North of 155 in Mexico against a procharged SRT8Charger and a few Vettes. Car had alot left in it and smooth as silk but that tank wont stop on a dime at those speeds.

Thanks, I agree. That was probably the only time I truly regretted selling a car, and did so in 1999 so I could get the equity out of it and use to get married. I plan to have another C4 someday, my goal is to have one from each generation, except maybe C1 and C2, which are getting out of sight as far as cost to buy one (one that is worth buying).
