I don't quite follow. This is a great place to buy things if you follow trader ratings. People here really are active in keeping crooks on display. I am no grammar critic but if you are going to call people stupid, you should probably try to use proper English.

Agreed...I've had numerous successful transaction on this board as both buyer and seller. But it's up to you to protect yourself, but that goes with any transaction I'd say. And lol.

Craigslist is a scumbag magnet. Absolutely no barrier of entry, and that attracts all of the flakes and D-bags.

I've had nothing but good transactions on LS1tech, which is why I've always stuck around. Met a lot of good guys during my time here.

I'm not one to ever bash ppl especially in our community, but was is the purpose of your statement? This should be the place where you need to feel comfortable selling and trading not only parts but information. Statements like this could easily scare new members. Just for a simple I told you so type comment?


You also wrote this in the appearance & detailing. Cmon buddy, these 2 places are some of the best to buy and sell. I do 90% of my buying from here and eBay. Common sense, research trader rating and you're good to go.
Once again not trying to be rude or disrespectful, just don't be a negative nancy.

Thanks for being stand up. I had a similar situation with a "friend" a while back. He didn't advertise the car locally though. Luckily the new owner is on tech and I spotted the car. A few PM's later he was informed of the issues. Fortunately for me my "friend" is no longer my "friend" anymore lol.

I made a similar post on craigs a couple months ago, really hope it worked to keep people from getting ripped off but who knows.

It sucks but it seems like this is happening more and more around here. Maybe we could start an archive of names of known crooks and sticky it?
