Default Racecraft Technology in Houston?

I was looking to let these guys tune my Camaro. Anybody heard anything about them? They quoted a good price for a dyno tune. They are near Hobby.

I see more and more no name shops claiming to be tuning shops. I drive by San jac central and everyone has some no name tuning or performance shop stamped on their window who's cars run like **** and sound like ***.

Who do you guys recommend for the original question? When I get mine back together it will need to go to at least a dyno run to make sure nothing is off most likely.

N/A or boost? Cheap or not? IMO if you don't have at least $500 for a tune keep saving.

oscs is on the money....most shops I do tuning for charge a minimum of 600 on a dyno tune. Typically a 100-150 of that is for dyno "rental". That's on fairly standard builds....crazy forced induction applications, e85, stacked power adders (nitrous on a supercharged car) and auto trans setups out of the norm are always going to be more because of the time involved to get it tuned correctly.

My car is the F1C Formula that I bought off of here. It is the Firehawk853 drive train freshened up and dropped in a 99 Hardtop Formula by Wes in the Panhandle. I am making the changes I think it needs to fix how it goes flat at 5800 but it technically shouldn't need much. It has a Speed Density most recently done at G-Force. It is on their web site. Originally was done in New York by J&J Speed Shop and Chuck was the builder/owner.

I posed the question for the original poster as I will probably go back to G-Force for mine since they are close (I am in Angleton) or maybe LMR unless I see really good numbers on the wide bands.

Frankenstein car from the site... https://ls1tech.com/forums/vehicle-c...n-6-speed.html

Stick with G-force. They already know the car and mike is good people. They are a well established/known shop in the LS community and have had their fair share of FI cars.

Mike is the only guy that that touches my tunes or tunes my cars. If I can't get ahold of him, the only other person I'd let touch my car is Bill Winters(5litereater)

D3 Performance Engineering, Chris Delgado.

They have absolutely no availability till after TX2k, that speaks for itself.

832-230-1094. Not a single person will say anything negative about their work.

Although chris is damn good, He's not perfect. He has some unsatisfied customers in the LS community.

I don't know how exactly they decided who tunes what. But I heard Delagato does mostly the stand alone big build stuff.

Guy there named Jarod did my hp tuners tune on my c5z.

And did a good job on it.

No problems with the drivability or repeatability of anything..

So I should stay away from chuck?
Was considering him to tune my truck.
He seems to do good work and bash on other peoples tunes, on how they aren't doing anything right
