I see you sold your hoss for the LE, I was looking for either an LE or a hoss and I came across the hoss first so I jumped on it. You have a good looking car, what are you going to do to it?

Looks like all of you guys are local to DFW... We should plan to all drive our cars to Cars and Coffee sometime here in Dallas.... I usually take my built C5Z... But would take my stock LE/SS..... if there were some others there. We could park together. Just a thought.

My plans are suspension ( k member, A Arms, sub frame connectors, lower control arms,) and perhaps a 12 bolt... Already has lowing springs, Bilstiens, adj phr...

I have a set of headers, y pipe, and a decent cam... 226/232 .610 on a 112... It is a work in progress, I am thoroughly enjoying it I stock form.

You guy's post pics when you can...

Im in for Cars and coffee but the car is motor-less at the moment. I am finishing up my 408 build in the next few weeks hopefully. Might be done for this next one.

I had the same plans until the LS1 decided to take a crap at 48k so the motor is coming first. But yeah mine is a 6.0 iron High compression 408. LS3 top end. Haha we will see how long the 10 bolt will hold up.

Your car looks great!

If this is all of them, then I would say these are pretty rare in these parts. As a caveat', I rarely see nice 4th gen fbod's on the hwy lately...

48K....? How did that happen? Mine just rolled over 157K... Coolant (even in this heat) stays at 190-200, oil pressure 40-60 psi.... I am getting ready to throw a cam in this dude...

Thanks bud... Yeah, had a guy from Austin offer me almost double what I paid. As much as I hated to see it go... I jumped on the opportunity. The LE kinda landed in my lap... I'm glad it did!

Lifter flat spotted cam lobe and shavings took out all the bearings. Aftermarket cam had been in there for 35k miles so who knows. Just a reason for the engine build!

I just cannot say I like those stripes. Mine is a regular SS. And once I found the 4" hood, I think it may take away the SS feel for some but I love the way it looks.

I can definitely say that I don't like the 4in 1st Gen Camaro hood on a 4th gen. BUT, you do, it's your car and life would be pretty boring if we all did the same thing to our cars. The "regular" SS's are a dime a dozen, but rarely seen anymore? Like the HOSS's.. ( which I have owned) the 35th LE SS's are pretty rare... This one is definitely a keeper.

That hood is just not aggressive enough for my liking. Not bad, but the sharp look of the one I have is what sold me on it.
