Smile NEED HELP Tuning/or repin.

Okay folks, need some to help me figure out the issues with my 1998 Z28 Camaro. I had 02 sensor light on, I changed bought up stream sensors because the rear has simulators plugged in. I replaced the sensors drove it to work , pop a light on at idle . I clear the code with handheld and drove it home no light came on until I went to idle at lights. So can someone tell me what the problems would be...
Car has long tubes, cam, bbk intake, heads, cai.

Or is there someone that will repin the car for me. So I can run a newer computer and tune it right.

Thanks for your input.

If you are having bank 1 or 2 sensor 1 (fronts) codes you need to figure out why through diagnosing it in person. There is a laundry list of possible problems from a vacuum leak to low fuel pressure. If it is a code for the rear O2's just turn them to no error reported.

Now I'm getting bank 1 and bank 2 low voltage signal.... really don't know the issue there.

Also running rich at idle...

Have you checked the ENG SEN fuse under the hood?

Alcon,

Correct me if I'm wrong. I was told there is a PCM for 1998 Camaro that has a rewired PCM for the fuel gauge fix for sale, so you wouldn't need to change out the fuel sending unit. But you would loose TCS, and VATS, and the oil/water Idiot lights....(that's fine if I can have a better PCM tuning).

Can I have the harness repined and run a newer computer, without changing the fuel gauge and dash cluster?

The cluster only takes a few minutes to change. I wouldn't let that stop me. 99+ computers are physically the same. IE, you can do a write entire and install a 2001-2002 OS in a 99' PCM and it will be the same as a 411.

Okay, so why do I need to change the cluster? and if I do , would I need to change anything else?

Thanks in Advance.

There are probably others that can answer that question better than me. I have never done the cluster swap.

You do not have to change the cluster if you do the re-pin to run a 99+ pcm. Your fuel gauge will not work without the fuel segment being swapped in the 99+pcm.

Thanks for the info on the cluster. But how do I get the fuel segment swapped in the new PCM. Is this something a tuner can do?

Yes. LSX Powerrtuning can do it for you. He is always on here helping out for nothing so it sure won't hurt to throw a little business his way.

Okay so , how do I get the ses light to go off. I haven't done any swaps or repins yet....I have changed the 02's and there are simulators in the down stream ( and the lights are flashing on the sims), will all this be corrected with a newer ECM installed? Just looking for some advice.
