Default Help W/Welding 02 Bung (Katy Area)

Just seeing if anyone local can help a brother out. Just need to drill and weld in a wideband bung on my LT's that are currently on the car. Can throw a a few bucks and/or beer.

FWIW there is a muffler shop/affordable muffler on dairy ashford and 10 (south side of 10). They did mine for around 50 bucks.

If you already know where to put the bung, mark the pipe and drill it out with a stepped bit.

Then muffler shop usually charges 20-30 for bung and one weld.

Thanks for all yals input.

Pearland is a little hike to drive the camaro out there. Appreciate it though!

Yup, got it where it's needed and have plenty of clearance. There a local vette shop near me that will do it for $60. May go that route. Last muffler shop I had a muffler welded in did a shatty job welding.

Why are you welding them to the headers? If you pull off the Y you could get it done easier and cheaper. Is this an option for you? If so and if you haven't got it done I might be able to help? I'm around 99 and westpark. I sold my MIG welder but I could TIG it if you take the exhaust off. I do not really want to weld while on the car, sorry.

I'm assuming its for an additional wideband gauge not the computers 02 sensors.
