Default Advance Auto Parts Cypress

I'm the commercial manager at the advance auto parts at the intersection of Cypress North Houston and Jones Rd in Cypress. I've been throwing around the idea of getting s few cars together at the store and maybe having a bar b que. I'm pretty new to the area and would like to meet a few people. When would be a good time to host an event like this?

Also if you need anything come into the store, ask for Kevin, and mention you saw this on tech and I'll make sure you're taken care of.

I live in East Texas Kevin but think this is an awesome idea and applaud your efforts. My wife and I spend a ton of money at our local auto parts store as we do all of the maintenance on our vechicles, mowers, etc. Customer service and simply saying thank you to the customer is a big deal and I appreciate what you're trying to do. Wish you managed the place in our next of the woods.

I'd be down for any Sunday to get around my work schedule. I've been by the store and talked shop with you a couple of times.

We're 5 miles away. Could bring both of the SS's over. Pretty much anytime on the weekends works, as long as we're in town. Not the best time of year coming up, as far as participation is concerned, but we'd certainly be interested.

Haven't been to that specific store. How big is the parking lot and what condition are the surrounding roads? Steep drives? Speed bumps? Nasty potholes?

Every time I take it to the store they charge it and say it's fine..

Even though it dies if the car sits over night??

I'm not sure if we carry Hobbs switches. I won't be back in the store until Monday, but I can call one of my co workers and have them look.

The parking lot is a decent a decent size. If we run out of room we can always overflow into the family dollar parking lot next door. The entrance from the side street has a bit of an incline, but the one on jones is good to go. I'm really leaning toward a Sunday. I usually don't have to work that day.

I haven't decided on one yet, but I'm open to suggestions. I'm really just gauging interest.

You'd mentioned doing it on a Sunday. I've got my Sundays open between now and Christmas. Couldn't tell you after the new year.

I just counted, the parking lot holds 40 at max capacity. I can't do it this Sunday because I'll be at autorama, but how does the 19th sound?

It's tough to get things like this set up around the holidays, but that day works for me.
