Default TDP still the place to go for a T56 rebuild in Dallas?

Picked up a WS6 and the transmission is making a helluva a racket. On top of that, it doesn't shift smooth, 4th gear grinds, and it wont stay in reverse. Obviously it needs a rebuild and it appears to be beyond my skills. Just need a basic rebuild for fairly cheap. Jason at TDP still the guy?

I have a tr6060 at his shop being built right now... really cool guy, honest, and fair with pricing... he is out of town until tomorrow I believe and I am assuming he won't be working until after the holiday

I figured as much. I don't even have the trans out yet, so it really doesn't bug me about the holiday.

A member on here from Standard Transmission and Gear also offered to rebuild it. He is way closer to me and they have good reviews. Anyone dealt with them?

What does the rebuild time look like with these guys?

Lol, no. I've been looking for a while now. $1500 is usually the cheapest you find.

He did a stage 2 rebuild for me about 9 months ago, and I got a Diamond stage 2 clutch from him. Matt had the thing tore down in probably 10 minutes and showed me exactly what the problem(s) were. Waited a few weeks for parts that were on back-order but he kept me up to date with it. Good guys.
