Is it me or is this C6 roller way over priced?

I saw that and got a good laugh, Craigslist seems to be a joke now, every once in a while you'll find something that isn't complete **** or beat to hell with "don't lowball I know what my car is worth" in the ad, but that's few and far in between. There was a C5 Z06 with 120k miles and needed at least 7-8K in paint and body work and interior work and wouldn't budge from 14K because he "knew the market for these cars".

How often do you see corvette rollers??
It till probably sell for close to that.
If you just want a cheap corvette, it might not be the best option.
But if you got it for 5k and put 15k into it. It would be a sick little car with a wide body and such for 20k total.

Great for a person that wants a project and can do most of the work. It would be an extremely shitty investment to try a turn a dollar on. I would make and offer if I were in the C6 market and buy the LT1 on EBay to it.That would be sweet with a lot of elbow grease and a little cash.

So I can't relate to it being a shitty investment.
It's still a better investment to me than any fbody at even less than half the price as a roller..
I buy every good deal I come across on vettes.
I bought my c6z 4 years ago and sold it for 5k less than I paid just this week. And it was beat up and missing/needing a lot of thing after being parted out..
I bought a c5z roller and threw it together and turned down offers 4 times what I paid...
I got another Vette roller lined up to buy that I could probably make 20k on if I didn't feel like making a project out of it...
If you are into flipping cars. Vettes are always easy money makers.

Everywhere. And everyone who knows me knows I'll buy just about anything that's a good deal, so I hear a lot just by word of mouth.
I've never really seen any good deals on corvette forum.
