Default Austin/DFW LS swap shops?

I just can't bring myself to pay new pickup price and I really do enjoy my old square body chevy. Does anyone know of any reputable swappers in DFW or Austin? I'd love to just get a ballpark idea on what a 5.3 and 4l80 would cost to swap into my old truck. I know it's not a tough task but I've already got another swap going on in my garage that I am taking my time on and don't want to get another going at the same time. Any references would be greatly appreciated!

Easiest swap possible really. I did my last 87 R10 over a weekend. Guy drove it back to Montgomery Alabama and got 20 mpg at 80 mph. My old stepside was probably the coolest swap ive done

Man id love to do it but school and family have me pretty tied down. Ive been installing the same transmission in my crf50 for a month now. Seriously though its a simple swap. Move the trans crossmember back a few inches, install motor mount plates, notch frame rail for manifold, set motor in, fuel it, cool it, wire it and fire it. You can use the rad and shroud with the 5.3 fan and 99-02 rad hoses. Depending on the year just dropping in a Walbro and using a Corvette filter will sort out the fuel system. As for gauges, get an electric cluster from a suburban and wire up the gauges right off the pcm. You also need a Lokar cable for the throttle. Id love to have a crew cab. Wanna sell it?

I'm in the middle of a full resto and LS/4l80 swap in a monte carlo in my garage right now so my doing it isn't an option until I finish that. That and I think I measured my garage and it's about the same depth as my truck is long, it would be a challenge from a logistical standpoint.

I'm not LOOKING to sell the truck right now but everything in the world is for sale for the right price...
