Things went very well today. Her dad showed up and paid for her attorney in the hallway outside of the courtroom. I have custody of my daughter. My child support stops. And hers begins. The judge went off on her attorney for a few things that she asked for.

Congrats! So I assume you went for temporary orders or was it the final hearing?

I got a TRO first then today the judge told the lawyers to work out a custody agreement. I offered her the same deal I got years ago. The sad part is she fought more for the child support than the visitation.

Damn the mother of your child isn't related to mine? Lol. The mother of mine only gets 14hrs supervised total every other weekend. All she asked for was for me to finish paying my back pay. Didn't ask for more hrs or more days.

I'm guessing that was why the judge was upset with her and her lawyer? lol! I remember when my exwife just asked for a PS3 and some DVD's that she swore I took when I left (I didn't take them, those movies sucked) in exchange for custody of our daughter. She didn't even show up to court, the judge was furious. People sometimes don't believe me that she gave me my kid for a PS3, but I just whip out the decree and they are stunned, lol.

Wow, a ps3 over her own child. I would cut out a lung to be with my kids. Wednesday was for the temp orders. I also can put my daughter in the school closest to my home. Mediation is next, then back to court in September for the final judgment

Today in mediation she gave up full custody. She won't pay child support, or medical , but I don't need her money.

It was well worth the stress and money to see my daughter safe and happy. I am very fortunate to win custody in a state that is against fathers. She passed all her drug tests and I still had enough dirt to come out ahead. I hope she opens her eyes and gets her life in order. My daughter loves and needs her mother and that should be motivation enough to make the needed changes

Good to hear man. It's sad what our family court system has evolved into and what has to be done just to be able to have your kids. I'm glad everything turned out in your favor

I am in the middle of a heated custody battle now myself. She has already run the whole playbook of making me look bad to the courts. But now it's my turn. They have already caught her in a couple of lies and the judge dressed her down pretty good one day about some of her life choices. Is it easier to give up and just go with it? Yeah. But there is no way I am giving up on making sure my son has the best living provided and is in a safe environment

Awesome!!!! We were supposed to have mediation as well. Last week we recieved a letter from her lawyer stating she dropped my sons mother as a client. We are stuck with our temporary orders at the moment.

Glad everything has gone in your favor.

I went through some crazy stuff with my daughters mother. The judges are very bias, spend the money and do a Jury trial... Its the only way a man can have a fair trial.
