Mike will give you a good tune. He has tuned a ridiculous number of CTS-Vs and ZL1s along with pretty much everything from stock Mustangs to highly modified LSX powered vehicles. That shop hasn't been around for so many years for no reason.

After that, give the 100 previous CTS-V and ZL1 owners and the following 100 CTS-V and ZL1 owners who got tuned at G-Force a call and ask them how their tunes turned out. No shop has zero complaints. It would be silly to base a decision or an opinion on 1 negative review.

you're absolutely 100% right. no shop has zero complaints. however, the shop in question has a complaint against it involving the same type of car as the OPs. it would be silly to choose Mike@GForce who has an unhappy customer who owns a ZL1.

Your post doesn't make a whole lot of sense past the second sentence. One unhappy customer out of how many?

I use to use him back in the day when I had a nitrous setup for tuning on my mustang. He then did all of the bolt ons and tuning for the tbss. Nothing but good things to say about him and the shop.

It's absolutely not about how many you got right. It is about how you handle the situations you fucked up. You are dead wrong about a shop with no complaints. This one does not just have a couple either. Just do a comparison of complaints for this guy VS Pat. It will be a no brainer.

Gforce tune on my 408 T56 combo (already have 2 local tuners to fix this mess).

Under 2k rpm sitting at exactly 8* timing. At 2k jumps straight to 27* commanded to redline. Makes for a terrible driver IF it'll idle long enough to drive down the street, usually takes at least 3 attempts to start and babying the throttle to keep it on.

PCM set to cycle OL/CL but the MAF sensor was cut off long ago.... so how the hell is the PCM supposed to read nothing and compensate from nothing? ALL of the evap and emissions codes are still reading so I have to ignore the SES light and hope nothing else is wrong.

Short version, no I won't going back to GForce for anything. IMO they got too big for their britches and no longer support us common folk. For fairness sake maybe my issues were my fault, there are tons of variables but I sure as hell expected a car to IDLE after a reputable professional tunes it.

Your money, your car, your decision.
