If their merge isn't the best, then putting in a good one like Flowmaster or Magnaflow will help a lot. My Pacesetter ORY had a horrible merge, and when I switched to the FM one it helped big time

I had a good merge with mine and still had rasp, if you want to eliminate it put in the closed plate in the catback (if it's the adjustable borla) and put in a cutout.

I had the duals built by a board member here who I believe used to work for Lanes. He hasn't been active on here in a long time. The exhaust sounds fantastic and I always get compliments on it.

Yeah, mike hutto built my exhaust. He went by v6bird on here. When I got my hoss last year I tried to get him to build me the same exhaust as my bird but he wasn't interested.

Stainless works told me they only build 2.5" Y pipes. Where did you get yours? The electric cut out for the Borla adjustable is one of the best mods you can do.

Rasp gone!! Replaced the fully open plate to the smallest more restrictive plate. Sounds awesome!!! Zero rasp, drone... Took about 10min and didn't cost me a dime.

Hey Matt. Glad you got it worked out. My brother has basically the same setup you do and we did the same thing. Put the one inch plate on his borla and he has no rasp. But it still gets nasty at WOT.

What's up Zach... Yes, WOT is very nice!!! Have my builder porting/polishing some 243's I picked up from a friend off of his 04 C5Z... May mil them a little for a little extra compression.

My car had the same work by the same member done back in the day before I bought it. It's been atleast ten years since he tucked the true duals and added 3 bolt collectors to the headers and x pipe and to this day I have never hit them on a speed bump at the collector. I will bottom out on my t56 before I hit the collector or any exhaust. It's definitely worth doing things right the first time when my system is ten years old and has never had a problem

My pace setters look like rusted genital warts but my old true dual setup still looks new

Yeah he built mine out of stainless and after 10 plus years I haven't scraped them on the ground. I was more than satisfied with his quality.

My brother has some LE2 243's sitting at my house but he'll probably never throw them on. He's pretty lazy when it comes to his car, lol. It's an 02 NBM 6 speed Firehawk. Has a TSP V2 cam with a bad tune. Runs ok just nowhere near what it should be.

Know anyone looking for a big trailer pulling truck? I'm trying to sell my 08 F350 dually. Real nice truck, just need something smaller my wife can also drive.
