Oh, you must have all the answers. That must be why you came in here and didn't offer any recommendation. Dumb.

Don't need a tuner, and wouldn't need a trailer either...

But it's also not tough for me to understand that someone might want to deal with people right by their location.

If you can't afford to feed the family, perhaps modding cars is too expensive as a hobby. The folks recommended have years of solid experience and very high success in terms of quality and happy customers. You want to risk a newbie or someone who does it "on the side", go for it. Maybe you'll get lucky. I'm sure the 3 guys with well over 30 years combined experience on the LS scene in the Houston area don't know anything. You've been given the best local options, there are others but you need to figure how much risk you're willing to take on having to re-do the tune and/or damage your car. Do what you want just make sure you tell everyone how it goes, even if it goes pear shaped. No matter what, you should give back to the community which you are benefiting from.

I know, brother, I meant "you" generically...but him, not you. If one can't afford to play, one should find a cheaper hobby, right?

Yes X100 that's why I laugh at most of these responses defending the logic.
