Call David Sprecher. I don't think he goes out that far but will have a recommendation for you. The guy he recommended me for Galveston Co/Friendswood a few years ago worked out well. It MAY have been Doug Rankin but I would call Sprecher's office for the referral, my memory may be off. It's been almost 10 years.

Launching!
Just go take the Deferment?
HPD let me mail mine in without going downtown.
Actual cost was less than a lawyer.
Just need to not get conviction for 90 days...

I just got a ticket about 6 months ago and took defensive driving to keep it off my record. I know that I can't take defense driving twice within a 12 months.
Does anyone else think that I can get deferred???
It doesn't sound like it, but I normally don't get pulled over for speeding so I don't mind being put on deferred.
Also, the ticket came from a DPS officer on I-45 South in Galveston County.

Consider:
How often do you get tickets?
How expensive is this one?
What is your time worth? (time in court, time in DD, etc.)
I find it worthwhile to pay an attorney to (usually) just make it go away and don't have to worry about probation or any other BS and spend my time more how I want to.

I know I'm a bit late on this one but...
Scott Markowitz or Sprecker are the two I've used/ use. Usually Markowitz. Avoid "Citizen Lawfirm" like the plague unless You love making multiple trips to appear in court.

Will cost you $250 but will be taken care of. He's taken care of around 100 cases for me with nothing but great results.

What city? This is by no means bragging but in just where I live in La Porte I once asked the clerk how many tickets I've had there and she was quite shocked to see I had 9 pages of tickets since just 2004. The only city he handled for me which didn't disappear was TX City as the judge only allows defensive driving. Right now he has 3 tickets he's handling for me.
I've sent countless people to him over the yrs and all have been satisfied.
