Tubbed or not? lowered? Frame C-notched?

Id say like a 15X10 with something like 12" wide tires.

I'm trying to figure that out as well. I'm trying to get a bigger tire under my 1990 Chevy, lowered 3/4", not C notched.

I'm looking at the Hoosier 29x10.5Wx15s, the Hoosier websites says to use a 8-10" wide rim. They have 11.0" of treadwidth, but 13.2" section width.

Fitting a 10" wide rim would be tough w/o it sticking out past the fender. I'm goign w/ a 15x8 w/ 5.5" backspacing.

I have a couple friends w/ 28x10.5x15 ET Drags on 15x10" wheels and they fit, the tires have barely rubbed the leaf springs every now and then.

A W tire on a 8" rim will look silly. It s got 3" over overlap on each side of the weel. Why do you need a W tire anyway? Why not run a normal 10.5 tire? If you run a W you really need to mount it on a 12" wheel for best contact patch. A 10" would work okay but not an 8"

If you compare a hoosier and a MT slick..... the hoosier is a little bit wider... sort of like Nitto 315's and BFG 315's.... the Nitto 315's are not as wide....

The 29x10.5Wx15 Hoosiers are the same dimensions as the 29x11.0x15s, just different label.

Right now I just have 28x11.5x15 ET Streets, I might just switch over to the ET Drag.

What are you goals for it?

What have you done for suspension/tranny/gears/etc?

The track opens up here next weekend, hopefully I get some 7.5xs on motor.
