Does anyone have connections to famous people??? Just curious if you know someone that knows someone that is 2nd cousins with somone famous?
I've worked with a few guys who had some pretty cool relatives.
1. I worked with the batting coach for the White Sox's cousin
2. Another guy I worked with is cousin's with Adam Dunn (probably pretty common since he's a local)
3. Now a guy that works with me is George Strait's brother-in-law

There use to be someone in my family that was married to Reba McEntire, before she got really famous. He was married to her when she was into the rodeo scene and her singing career was just starting to take off.
Not sure what happened, but they parted ways.
There's some more history in our family with famous outlaws, but I can't confirm those.
My great grandpa died in a **** Concentration Camp. He fell out of a gaurd tower and broke his neck.

Not the same thing but I work with a Elvis impersonator who has done shows for famous people. He's been a tv a lot and has even played on the Weakest Link... The Elvis thing is something he does on the side and makes a lot of money doing it.

i stood right next to sandra bullock for a good 3-4 hours at a show in austin..
she smiled at me but i didn't have the guts to talk to her. lol
she's very tiny and gorgeous in person.. she looks plain on tv

I dont have any direct connections, but I had friends that worked for Neal McCoy when he opened up a Yamaha shop back in my hometown(where he was also from). Plus you saw him on a regular basis out and about. My buddy said he saw him eating at Pizza Hut in what looked like pajamas.
Matthew McConaughey grew up in my hometown also, and went to my highschool. I have friends that went to high school with him. He also showed up to my school once while i was there.
Football Player Bobby Taylor, who played for the Eagles, and now the Seahawks, went to my highschool also (a few years before I got there). While he was playing for the eagles, he walked into my spanish class once, and hung out with us and his old spanish teacher.
Thats as close as i get... Not really connections, just sightings.
