You peoople need to read the NOAA and actual REAL Weather places. As long as this front stays its going to continue even more west then they are predicting. Ross since you do have a new born and are not in a good location I would leave too! I'm not calling anyone a idiot for leaving for reasons like that. I would be on the same boat too!!

Also keep in mind that the worst part of a hurricane is the eastern eye-wall extended about 50-75 miles. If it keeps tracking more west than north, it may miss Houston but ya'll still might get some of the worst weather and most of the rain. I consider myself pretty weather savy, and from what I know, I wouldn't be within 200 miles of the coast this weekend.

BTW, if this thing stays on its predicted course, it will still be a weak Tropical Storm by the time it hits Dallas.
We were going to fly down in the Bonanza to Port Lavaca today to move a boat, but they closed the airport at 3. They're not ******* around down there.

We're headed to Austin for a party on Saturday, then back up to the DFW on Sunday. We'll be out of the worst of it, but we'll still need to deal with the rain and wind.
Good luck everyone in Houston and the coastal regions.
