Took us 6 hours to get from Friendswood to Katy. That's usually a 45 minute drive.

My cousin went up I-10 and sat there for eight hours, got fed up and turned around and was home in 20 minutes
Of course I just stayed home and figured I'd make my move 24 hours before impact...either everyone was gonna rush at the same time or they'd all be gone (more likely).

15 hours from Pearland to Austin.
9:30PM - Left Pearland
10:00ish - Reached Hwy 6
Midnight - Reached Rosenberg on Hwy 90
8:00AM - Reached Eagle Lake (which is 32 miles from Rosenberg)
10:00AM - Stopped for gas in Ellinger (on Hwy 71)
1:30PM - Reached mother-in-law's in north Austin
So, we went Hwy 6 to Hwy 90 to Hwy 102 to I-10 to Hwy 71.

Highway 6 and 90 were fucked up. We got on Highway 6 at 35 in Alvin though. We went that way to Katy. Beltway 8 probably would have been faster...

Wednesday night took me two and a half hours to get from 1960/290 to Hwy 6/290 in Hempstead. Hwy 6 from there to Waco wasn't that bad kinda like holiday traffic. A buddy of mine left an hour after me on 290 and 4 hours later had moved 27 miles. Goes to show timing was everything that day.
