Just out of curiosity, in like 1 1/2 2 years what do you think a 05 c6 will go for if I plan to buy one?

Look no further than what the C5 value was shortly after release opposed to what they're going for today.

I'd say about $40K-$45K.

In 2 years? I highly doubt that. Maybe in 5 or 6.

Just pay atention to how the C4s depreciated when the C5s came out, and how the C5s went down in price through the model yearm, kinda similar, just adjust for inflation. Some Corvette people are annoying ebcause they think Vettes are god gifts to man so there bronze 86 TPI with a 197K miles on it is still worth $15K Star Wars dash in all. Then again you can also find higher mile LT1 C4s for like 5-6.5K if you look. So its kinda crap shot with Vettes, but I bet the majority will go down in value like the C5s did. The Z06s will go down like the ZR1s though, still hard to find cheap ZR1

Prices will tank just like any other GM car. In your time frame? Low low 30's, high 20's.

I was in the Ft. Worth area over the weekend, and I saw a commercial on TV about an Arlington Chevy Dealership selling NEW C6's for $39,900 (GM Emp. Pricing). Don't remember the name.

I don't think thats gm pricing. To my knowledge a base Vette will go for about 35K under employee pricing.

Corvettes have incredibly high resale value so don't plan on getting a deal unless you go down on someone!

in 2 years? I'd guess about $38-40K range. Remember, the C5s didn't go down in value until after about 4 years. Mine brand new was $48K, and that was with a $2500 rebate.
