best way to get VHT off car panels

Default best way to get VHT off car panels

??? whats the best way to get VHT off the back of a car? i tried WD40, alcohol, goo gone, and none of those worked

I have some glue remover when I worked at a sign shop. Works very well.

Next time you go to the track spray wd40 on the quarter panel. It won't hurt the paint and the vht will wipe off.

I have used a thin coat of vasaline, but have heard about wd40 too. I guess it would be a little easier to apply than vasaline. oh well whatever floats your boat.

Did you get VHT or rubber on the car.

Alchol is used to cut vht while if its rubber you can use plain old ice a lot of times (same trick for gum),

wd40 can be bad the clearcoat if I remember correctly, 3m sells clear strips that you put at the back of the rear well to avoid this also.

my car has some zaino on it, and when i went to the track i waited a day before i cleaned it. im not sure if i have a lot of vht as i did rubber, but it came of easily.
so id try the wd40 i guess before
