Best Buy must not employ the brightest people in Houston. I had fun last night, but to the dude in the Pewter SS, you really shouldn't talk **** when your car is busted.
Him: "That a nice, stock car that you have there."
Me: "Yeah, you have a nice car too. Want to line them up?" *was camming hard when he pulled in*
Him: "Nah, I wouldn't want to make you look bad. Besides, I have a busted valve spring, I can't rev past 4K anyway."
Me: "Well come on dude, make me look bad. I mean, it's all in fun. If you win, you win."
"Nah, I don't feel like it. Besides, I don't race stock cars."
Seriously, I can't understand how people can talk **** when their ride doesn't even work. I may be stock, but at least I didn't pay money so I can tell people it would be fast if, "insert part here" worked.
You could have at least taken the Best Buy shirt off before you came out. That would have given you a little bit of credibility.

i dunno about this situation, but ive been hanging out and some guy pulled up obviously camming hard. He tried talking **** to me, and when i asked what he had done he just said cat back and one of his cylinders was missing which is why it sounded like a cam.
Since i have a cam i could tell he had one too, some people just think they are funny...

I don't know why people are so hesitant to speak openly about their setups. As much as Fast n Furious is made fun of, it's amazing how many people have really embodied that rediculous mentality and bring a really bad rep for all of us who actually love cars and really know something about them, not just how to paticipate in "the scene." (yank jerk yank). Most of us don't really "race" as much as talk **** soooooo unless you're one of those guys who races all the time, puts up yer paycheck, and backs up your mouth win or lose, then you're just a poser or a for-fun racer and PEOPLE ARE ON TO YOU I mean hell, if someone has a better built car than yours, then general rule of thumb is the better car wins. I guess people use their cars as a basis to be "better than you" as a human. When they say "I don't race stock cars" essentially they are calling themselves modded and you stock (not exactly sure what that means), and not talking about cars anymore, just cushioning insecurities lame...

No kidding. It just blows me away how these people will have mods out the *** but they don't even want me to entertain them because something is broken.
Hell, I would rather be stock and slow and have my **** start up when I turn the key rather then be fast, modded, and busted.

I'm going to have to call bullshit on that 408. I will even pay to have it dynoed. I'd have to see it to believe it. I know I make a lot more power than him, but that car either doesn't make what you guys claim or is a dog.
