I am looking to get my windows tinted in the Houston/College Station area. Anyone know a good shop or some prices. Also, what is the legal tint in TX? The tint on the car now is faded and it's like having no tint at all.

i think 35% visiblity is the legal limit in texas for the driver and passsenger. As dark as u want on the back tho

The Truck Shop, its at 249 and the beltway, across 240 from Houston Performance.

Ag solarguard and sunco are two of the better ones around here. 35% is the darkest allowed on front two windows back as dark as you want and cannot go below the asi line on the windshield if they do a tint band.

got mine done at ag solar guard also. and you can go as low as 25%. and can pass state inspection at 20%. but the dps checks for 25% when you get pulled over. trust me i have been through it a couple times.

I had my car done at Westside Lexus, great job.
I had my truck done at Tomball Tinters across from the walmart in Tomball. They also did an excellent job.
