HOLES DRILLED, HURRICAINE HIGH RISE POLISHED INTAKE, HOWARDS .525/.525 DURA@.50 251/262 WITH A 106 LCA SOLID FLAT TAPPET. DIRECT LUBE SOLID LIFTERS.NEEDS OILPAN/PUMP, ROCKER ARMS. I know this may not be the right board to post but some of you guys like the old school cars too... It would make a great gift for the misses haha!! prices are neg..

this 383 isnt a 4 bolt main is it?

cuase i need a nitrous motor

well actually no, but i copied a friends exact motor that he runs in his car to build this and he sprays a 250 shot with the SAME exact setup to the "T".... on all motor and pump gas he ran a best 11.56 @ 117 on ET'S in a 3200# camaro all motor foot braking it and on the gas he ran a 10. 61 @ 129.
So to answer your question i dont see why you couldnt do the same and his car is a regular driver.

also how did he only drop .9 sec in the 1/4 mile with a 250 shot?

that should be at least LOW 10's if not 9's

the cam is on a 106 LSA so it's not the best nitrous cam, but perfect for the street and foot breaking.. i run a simular cam in the nova and it doesnt matter what gear you have it in, that freakin car will GO...
im not too familiar with the lt1's but i hear people can adapt these old school motors to the lt1's but you need the lt1 heads for reverse coolant and you have to set up their distributar and water pump..
