if you're referring to the Wed. night meet at the O'Reilly's in South C.S., it was taken over by the ricers.

I wasn't here when the Friday night meets began, but i do remember last semester as well as last fall there were friday night meets.
I think the reason for the Friday night meets was b/c there was huge interest in them, it helped with everyones schedule(school and studying), there was the most people at sonic on friday nights. etc....Friday to me is the best part of the week, i have 2 jobs and weekends off, so fridays are it for me.
We can always move them to saturday nights?

oh yes....the weekly meets....there is always people at sonic, so thats why we meet on fridays at sonic, and its not an organized meet.
The ones that me and brandon throw together are with everyones input.

i'll be putting together something for me to drive. then i'm driving straight to college station to rev at everyone. u will be my bitches!!!
but really, i'm putting my engine/tranny into something so i can drive again.
dunno who started friday meets, but it was a long time ago. mainly the older guys like Ed, john (2nd gen), old man spray, and todd that were out every friday so maybe they started it. i've been going out there for a couple years though.

However, that being said, there still is a Wed. meet where the old school guys hang out. It's at the Hastings in Bryan. Some of the f-body guys make it out there too but they usually don't hang out very late.
