Curb Weight of a 2004 Cobra ? Anyone know how much a 04 cobra weighs w/o driver. My brother (doesnt know too much about GM's) argues that the cobra lighter than my car. I know F-bodys arent light cars, but i thought the cobra was heavier. Any information would be appreciated.

I'm gonna have to say the Cobra is heavier, 03-04 has the iron block, weight of the Eaton up front, IRS, T56(compared to earlier models), etc. Not to mention, the f-bodies sport composite fenders, the Mustang's got steel fenders.

Umm. No. Around 3600 for coupes and 3800 for convertables. My friend weighed his coupe with a solid rear and a full 20# nitrous bottle and it weighed around 3550. Theyre heavy but nowhere enar 3800 pounds for the coupes.
