I stayed at work to sleep. Hospital asked me to do so just in case the roads were bad this morning. Im actually glad I did stay.
not bad, although I missed my bed. its more comfortable than the patient beds.

I have my hours as long as I worked friday... I just hated to come in today. But I drove the truck and it wasn't too bad till I was pulling into the parking lot at work. I slid past it and onto the median..

one good thing from all of this... I saw the truck is do for inspection and needs a tune up bad. Idles like a cammed car

whats funny is that some of the patient arriving made the employees look bad because they were showing up. lol
I woke up at 0500 and will work till 1100 pm, lots of hours but its a very easy going job. I study at work too so it helps me that way.

Its funny how it works sometimes. Other times we could have people that had to drive a long way come to work but the people that live close don't show.

WE have customers show up just to see if we were open.. They don't have anything that they need just want to stop by but funny at the same time

I was the only one that showed up yesterday at work(well, only MCA). Had to do 20 mph all the way home too, even on the freeway. It was straight ice! EVery road was ice, nothing was clear enough to do anything close to the speed limit haha

I stayed home too. I was trying to go to work but ended up 200 feet from my house stuck in a ditch with my passenger side scratched to hell.

It's not too bad, it can be buffed out. I was trying to go up a hill and the car veered to the left, then to the right and into a ditch. My entire passenger side was in a ditch while my drivers side was still on the street. I couldn't turn any direction, so I was forced to slide back down hill with branches scratching the passenger side all the way down. Then I called the boss and told him I wasn't gonna make it.
