Default DFW: need help working on the car

i am now over due for an oil change on the firehawk... unfortunatley since i just moved here, i have no tools or ramps or anything to do it with. also, since i am really strapped for cash right now, i cant be buying tools and stuff, so if someone will assist me with doing an oil change at your place, i will gladly compensate you for your time in beer.

lemme know if you can help out!

What the hell do you need a screwdriver for? A 15mm should be everything you need. If you want to come to Denton, you can use all my stuff for free....jack, stands, wrench, buckets.....LMK

We will do it for $10 if you buy the oil and oil filter. We already have all the stuff, cause we do all 3 of our cars all the time. Let me know if you are interested.

Do you stab the oil filter? If its that tight then there are some serious problems with who ever put it on

i think brandon is talking about tapping on it to get it started, however......i'm not weak, so i've never had to do it that way.

i've had issues elsewhere with the car....but never changing the oil.

not at all.
if he didnt do it last time, there is a large posibility that the person who put it on, tightened it WAY too much, OR forgot to oil the gasket.
therefore you will need some method to remove the oil filter, and the cheap solution is to jab a screw driver through it and twist off.
