Oh man, where did you get that last one...that looks EXACTLY like where I used to work.
A group there would do a team member when they went on vacation. They did duct tape (with some boy-band pictures added in), foil, newspaper, string (silly string, yarn, etc.), saran wrap, and post-its (end to end, not like that first pic).

Newspaper and duct tape are the worst. Newspaper leaves black residue everywhere and then gets all over your clothes and skin. The girl that had it done to her at my last office wore a white sweater her first day back. She was pissed!
Duct tape just stinks and everything is sticky.
If I had the peanuts in my cube I'd just throw that **** in the hallway and continue working
