Got that but,how close to 80 just on start up? It's been low on oil for a week and she just told me about it,I had to add four damn qts of oil,and I just wanted to make sure that she didn't fk anything up.

You were 4 quarts low!!!!!! damn. Dont mean to sound like a dick, but if your motor craps out on you dont be supprised. Its a good chance you have bearing wear if you beat on it any kind of way.

cold start-1200rpm, Oil preasure ~45
Warm-900rpm, Oil preasure ~37
Crusing-1500rpm, Oil preasure ~40
In the gas-5500rpm, Oil preasure ~55

Never hit 60psi, might have hit it at 6800(rev limiter), but I had to pay attention to the road. Its a stock LS6 pump, and I run mobile one 10W30.

I usually run around 55-60 with 6 qts of 5w30, at start up. when I get on it it approaches 75ish.

If you had to add 4 qts, you might have added a little too much. I wouldn't worry about it too much, just wouldn't pound on it.

Dude, chill out man. ...and its CamAro. Plus it does not matter if they have a Camaro OR a Trans Am, they are both the same.

Why don't you post up and say what oil pressure YOU had on that start up with it being 4 quarts low?

My CamAro and Trans Am both have ported pumps so my pressure is alot higher, around 60psi on start up and idle.

Peace,
Craig.
