Look what Santa brought me this year!!! 2006 2500HD Duramax Since everyone is posting what Santa brought you this year, I figured I'd post what he brought me. Well, it was actually my birthday present which was 2 Tuesdays ago, December 14. I haven't been able to snap any pics of it as I've been busy with work. The camera I have sucks, but you get the idea. I'll post better pics after Christmas. Anyhow, here's a rundown on the truck:
2006 Chevrolet 2500HD Crew Cab 2LT
Duramax 6.6L HO Diesel (360hp/650tq)
Allison 6 speed automatic transmission w/manual shift

Power locks, windows, mirrors, and 6 way driver seat
Heated mirrors w/passenger auto dimming, turn signals, and power foldable
Keyless entry w/alarm
6 in-dash CD player w/Bose sound system, XM radio, and OnStar
Custom cloth seats w/bucket seats in the front
Leather wrapped steering wheel w/radio controls
Rear audio controls
Tinted windows
3.73 gear
Heavy duty suspension w/towing package
Polished aluminum wheels
Fog lights
Dual climate control

This is one bad truck. I love it! It rides smooth, its quiet, comfortable, and gets up and goes. I haven't towed the car yet, but it shouldn't have a problem. Purchased it from Champion Chevrolet in Corpus Christi as no one around this area had the truck I was looking for with the options. Got a great deal too. Sticker was 43,900, Red Tag price brought it down to 37,900, then I had 1,785 in GM points, out the door with tax, title, and license, 38,444. Couldn't have done it without my father. Thanks a lot pops! He payed cash money, so he saved me over $4000 in finance charges and that's if I would have given up the $1000 rebate and taken the incentive rate.
