my buddy marine02ss and i will be making a road trip up there today to LME to go pickup a 408 shortblock of his that LME had built up for him....its a long *** drive to houston and back in one day...so it'd be kool to see spme friendly faces and perhaps have lunch with a few guys up there in houston....if anyone wants to hang out for a bit around 1ish just give me a call...at 956-251-6700 ask for steve..thanks

yeah, i just got back from houston about an hour ago....well what can i say....bryan at LME is an awesome guy, very knowledgeable, and friendly 
.....he is a great guy to do business with...they have a nice set up going on in their shop....they had like 65 408 blocks getting ready to be built 
...bryan also has a very nice camaro...all in all LME has great customer service and does great work...2 thumbs way up !!! 
we also stopped by HPE and took a look at their shop.....man that shop is the nicest shop i have ever seen
...and skooter was a great guy as well and he has a very nice red ss as well 
.....HPE's shop has so many nice and very fast cars being built as we speak...man i wish i lived in houston i would be there every day 
...HPE gets two thumbs way up as well...for a great looking shop and great service as well...
this saturday turned to be pretty kool...but i guess noone wanted to have lunch with a bunch of stranger from laredo,.so me and my friend marine02ss ended up eating at Hooters and lets just say we had a blast!
...would've been kool though if we could've shared lunch with some fellow ls1tech enthusiest from houston but oh well maybe next time
