Since you're in denton, try wayne calvert precision automotive. I dont know if they would be able to do that, but it would be worth a shot. They are on dallas drive i think, right across from auto zone.

Calvert is good, he initially did the machine work on my engne. I use Mike Smiths machine shop in north Ft. Worth now.

Yeah, Calvert sends all his cranks out. Its hard to find someone who does it still since the machine alone to do it is so expensive. Turning cranks is cheap.

Working all day sunday. (Need the money) Monday though its comin out. Come over and ill have the woman cook dinner again. Made up my mind to have the stock crank offset ground and get some new rods and pistons. Gotta find someone who makes the rods with a 2.0 big end.(Scat i think). Then i will decide if im going with low compression or high compression. Pistons will also need to be custom made.

screw that setup. you'll end up spending more money on the custom crap than a decent built 347.

I work monday, but monday night im off...
might take the afternoon off or osmething if i can...

I agree, they just finished my block, heads and crank. I'll pick them up this week and start putting it back together, hopefully the 1/2" head studs will help keep the heads down this time around.
