Yet another reason you never and i mean never hit the brakes pedal in a spin or a slide. Alway use the gas to get the car back under control.

Since it made such a hard left, almost a 90 degree turn, so quickly I'd say the left side half shaft snapped. There wasn't a thing the driver could have done except brace for the impact.

Nope Vette IRS does not work like that. I know what your saying, but it usually happens more often in FWD cars like that. We've broken my brothers output shafts, etc. On G-Force shop Vette we've snapped a few Halfshafts on the n2o and even when it was rolling its never done that, the car just stops moving. I think SW broke quiet a few of them too when he had his 9sec Vette.

man i dont know what happened ..i know it wasnt a half shaft...it could have been a 400 shot!!!!

Shiit I've been spraying the 400 shot out of the hole on 225 Street tires since 84! Guy needs to learn to drive!
