I need one too I`ve been looking for one too. No one knows what I`m talking about though.
The guys at the junkyard SURE don`t know either, lol.
Let me know if you find one cause I need one too and also, what exactly is it called maybe I can find a GM part number for it.

I have part of a headlight assembly that I bought from a lady off eBay. I was ripped bad. It was supposed to be a complete kit but she only sent part of it to me. It is missing the big bracket that bolts to the core support and another little small bracket. I may have what you need and you could make me an offer. Try this site... http://www.buy-oem-parts.com/storefront.htm and search for 2000 trans am, front lamps, headlight components, etc. you might be able to better identify the part that you need.
