Default What to do for some extra hp

What can i do to my 98 formula 6speed to get some extra horsepower that doesnt cost alot of money. Did is my 1st sportscar please give me some advise. I allready have a lid. whatelse please help. My friends are talking ****

a cutout or ported throttle body would be a good fairly inexpensive way to go. Also may wanna consider an underdrive pulley

What is "alot" of money? I would say, ported TB, Lid, pulley, header back exhaust. All of that will give you a decent kick, and can be cheap if you find good deals.

go with the n2o and make sure you keep all the extra **** out of you car i ran up at the track one day and the best i could cut was 8.8's cleaned out the car and ran solid 8.6's two days later (i was hauling around a floor jack, about 20 bottles of oil, and my books)

on the free:
Free mods, fuel filter (if you havent changed it in the last 20k miles).

on the cheap:
long tubes, y pipe, catback, cut out.
LCA's, torque arm, panhard bar, shifter.
drag radials, line lock.
cam/roller rockers

Not so cheap:
N20, blower/turbo.
Heads/cam
