Default F.S. The best car jack ever made...

Original equipment Bumper Jack out of a '72 Bubbletop Biscayne. $50 + shipping.

I think it's time to go ahead and get rid of it. It has saved me so many times over the years but I think I am going to upgrade to the modern "floor jack". This thing is great. If you are strong enough to jack it all the way up, it will actually get one of the tires about 6.5 feet off the ground. Just don't lean on the car because the 3" x 3" platform isn't very stable at that height. Just click the release lever and it will click-click-click-click-click itself all the way down but, be sure to take the tire iron out of it or if that thing slings out of there, it will do some damage. Last time it whacked my uncle Elroy right across the forehead.

My Pops had a Buick Electra 225, a 55 Chevy Belair, to young to remember the rest but remember him cranking them up on the side of the road, closest I had to using something similar was on the Jeep TJ I had, using the Hi-Lift...but then again I used it as a winch to get me outta the mud.

Those boggers look like they can do some damage off road. I had a 1997 TJ, and loved the hell out of it!

My Duster doesnt have one but it came with something similar when new. I've upgraded to one of those newfangled floorjacks myself and I must say, they work well with old cars as well as new! Cool old jack though!

Sweet, I had a 97 TJ, built it up just like the 2000, sold them all though, might get another one next year. Would love a RUBICON next time...$$$

Everyone is laughing because there is NO WAY to use that on any car with plastic bumpers unless you want to rip a hole in it.

I want to buy it and get it powder coated to match the interior of my camaro. I'm planning on entering the next autorama and this is exactly what i've been looking for. I'll find a way to get it to work.

I can't recall if my 72 Vega or my 80 Sunbird had bumper jacks or not. I'm thinking not ...
