i'm gonna go to the delership tomorrow to go test drive one, we'll see how that goes.
my truck (not the turbo one) is about to die on me...so i need to get rid of it before it goes for good.

I had one for a daily driver for a while, very nice driving cars. They look good and the power is more than adequate for most drivers. The seats were cool but it took some getting used to the really tall door panels. They have some issues with the factory Bose system, mainly the crap amps they use. The earlier ones ate front tires constantly and the tire pressure sensors never work correctly. Hard to argue with 27mpg, 287hp and a top speed well in excess of 150. Imagine a C5 Vette with about 50-60 less hp and you'd be close.

I don't see the point of the 350Z
It's slow.
It's heavy, for a 2 seater (~3350 lbs).
It's overpriced. ~$30,000
If you want a 2 seater, get a Solstice. $10,000 less and lighter.

The 350Z is ok but I wasnt topo impressed witht the power delivery. I test drove a M6 and you had to keep it up in the RPM's (between 5,000 and 7,000) to make decent power. My sister just recently bought a new Infinity G35 coupe whick is pretty much a 350Z with a little diffrent body and 4 seats. I like it a lot better than the 350Z. Either way, not too bad but I wouldnt trade my Z28 for one.

I like the car. Its comfortable and reliable. You can get some really good numbers out of them but expect to pay quite a bit considering the mods are not cheap at all. Handling is great on the car and knock on wood I haven't had any problems with mine yet and I just turned 24000 miles today. Good luck with and I think if you test drive one you'll like it. Let me know if you have any questions on the car!
